Save the audio you thought was lost. There are many reasons why a certain recording hasn't the quality (anymore) you want: the recording was made decades ago, the carrier got dirty or damaged, unforeseen errors happened during the recording, the recording circumstances were less then ideal, ... Luckily, in many of such cases, the audio can be saved by removing (most of) the noise and/or restoring the lost audio. Different solutions for different issues. 'Noise' can be anything going from hiss over clicks and crackle to unwanted coughs, buzzes and so on. It's basically anything that is audible but not part of the wanted recording. Since the method of fixing these problems varies a lot by the type of noise, restoration work is charged per hour of work. A worktime estimate will be made based on your audio. Preparing for restoration. All audio should be supplied in digital format in either .wav or .aiff format, at 16 or 24 bit in the samplerate of your choice up to 96kHz. Ready for action! To arrange for restoration or if you have any further questions, please contact me. A short restoration demo to hear what can be done with your audio is possible. |
